ABSTRACT
This study was undertaken to implement the McNamara cephalometric analysis on the lateral cephalograms of Angle class 1 occlusion individuals. The study material consisted of 10 males, 10 females, totally 20 individuals. The initial and final lateral cephalograms were obtained at 13 and 17 years of age, respectively. The findings of the McNamara analysis were statistically evaluated and concluded that it was far more descriptive yet informatory than most of its counterparts particularly in orthognathics and functional orthopedics treatment planning.
