ABSTRACT

It’s known among the complications of the early loss of primary teeth are mesial drift of the first molars and distal tipping of the anterior teeth. In this study; lateral cephalometric evaluation carried out regardless of molar relationship on the male and female children, aged between 8 and 12 and who has skeletal Class 1 malocclusion and early primary teeth loss. When the medium of cephalometric evaluations and medium of optimal values compared statistically and found that; mesial migration in the early loss of primary teeth becomes more severe particularly in males. Thus, in planning space retainers the necessity of respect to this complication is shown.
