The purpose of our study is to examine the effects of different cements on enamel decalcification in order to prevent the White Spot lesions which came into life under the orthodontic bands. A total of 72 teeth from 18 individuals are used in this research. The mean age of the working group is 14.4 years. The classification of lesions is made by the White Spot lesion scala. Orthomat-Leitz polarized light microscopy is used to find the datas of the mean lesion depth and ultrastructural datas are found by Leitz-Amr 1000 scanning electron microscopy. Statistical evaluation is made by the mean value test. It is found that, the lesions that occured has no cavitations and the groups that in value with the lesser lesion depth are glass ionomer and flour added zinc phosphate cement groups.
