The purpose of this investigation was to evaluate the effects of occipital headgear-activator and occipital headgear-jasper jumper therapies on dentofacial structures and to compare the obtained results. The study material consisted of 25 Class II, high angle subjects. The skeletal mean age of 8 subjects in jasper jumper-occipital headgear group was 12.37 years, of 9 subjects in the activator-occipital headgear group was 11.51 years at the beginning of the treatment and of 8 subjects in the control group was 10.98 years at the beginning of the observation period. In both treatment groups ANB angle showed significant decrease compared to control group. Between the treatment groups significant differences was observed in upper-lower incisors tipping degrees and in upper-lower molars sagittal displacement. Treament time in the jasper jumper-occipital headgear group was significantly less than the activator occipital headgear group.
