Semı-Fıxed Temporary Bıte Rısıng Auxılıary

During fixed appliance treatments of some cases such as deep-bite, scisors bite or lingual cross-bite it is necessary to open the bite temporary, to prevent bracket shearing or to permit easy tooth movement. In this paper, a “semifixed temporary bite rising auxiliary” is introduced and 3 examples of its usage is presented. This auxiliary was found valuable of its easy construction and its optimal hygienic conditions. Furthermore, it don’t necessitate patient cooperation and can be used with any fixed appliance.
