Orthodontists take a significant part in multidiscipliner treatment approach of celft lip and palate patients. Orthodontic treatment begins with the birth of the baby and continues till normal relationship of teeth and environmental structures are achieved. However, most of the cleft lip and palate patients demand for treatment in late periods of growth. Beside correcting the malfunction, orthodontists, may contribute the patients psychology due to the improvement in aesthetics in this period. In this study, 2 cleft lip and palate patients in late adolescence are presented with their orthodontic and prothetic treatment results. In both cases, a propriate occlusion is achieved and facial appearance is improved in compromise.
