Today ANB angle is commonly used in the process of defining the anteroposterior apical base relationships of the jaws. The factors that influence the ANB angle were studied by the investigators. The axial inclination of the maxillary central tooth is one of the factors which influences the location of point A. In this study the relation between the axial inclination of upper central and the location of point A were studied. In our study four criteria that defines the location of maxillary central tooth were used. These are; I (Point incisale), Ap (Point Apicale) R (The rotation point of the root), and the angle between I and the SN plane. As a result we found a strong positive corelation between the location of point A and R. We also calculated the regression equation.
