Treatment of deep-bite instances constitute one of the most difficult problems in clinical orthodontics. There is still no consensus in orthodontic literature regarding the mechanics utilized opening the deep-bite. Bioprogressive therapy employs effective bite opening arch configurations namely “utility arches” particularly at the start of the orthodontic treatment. As a result, upper and lower incisor intrusion and labial torque can be succesfully accomplished throughout the treatment period. The global evaluation of the stomatognathic System enables bioprogressive therapy resolve complex problems such as craniomandibular disorders through functional positioning the mandibular condyle and disk incident to bite opening. In this paper, non-extraction orthodontie treatment of two brachifacial patients portraying above problems associated with deep-bite is presented with the implementation of bioprogressive approach.
